Jazz

DANCE FANTASY is tailored for the 3-4year olds giving them their first introduction to the world of dance, through body movement, rhythm and mime. Music and mime are a vital learning too to help foster their imagination in dance.

JAZZ Level 1 This class is suitable for 5-6year olds that have either come from Dance Fantasy or had no dance training at all.Introducing the children to the grounding/basics of jazz technique,then preparing some jazz dances.

JAZZ Level 2 Level 2 Jazz is suitable for 7-9 year olds who will start to learn a more involved dance technique that will take them to the next level of dance.

JAZZ Level 3 This class is for the 10-12 year olds. A wide range of jazz steps and technique are practised each lesson. Working towards a routine that is noticeably more advanced than level 2. In this class you are able to join the Dance Star PERFORMANCE GROUP.

JAZZ Level 4 This class is tailored more to an intermediate jazz student who has a knowledge of the foundations of dance in jazz or many styles of dance. Concentrating on on jazz and other forms of dance ,eg hip hop , funk, contemporary, this class broadens your knowledge of movement and style. You may join the PERFORMANCE GROUP at this level.
