Anne Dyer (A.R.A.D.)
Anne Dyer has had an amazing career as an accomplished ballet dancer and teacher.
After studing the R.A.D. Syllabi and Solo Seal, she spent 9 months at the Covent Garden Dance Centre polishing her technique.
After which she then spent 11 years as a profesional ballet dancer in Belgium and France.
Anne has taught at Brents St Performing Arts, Mango Dance Studio and NAISDA (National Aboriginal Islander Dance Assoc).She is an accomplished Pianist, Ballroom, Latin and Flamenco Dancer . Yoga is a strong focus in her daily lifstyle. Anne was approved by the RAD London headquarters tobe a mentor to the RAD teacher training students.
Anne is the founder and principal of Dance Star and after 30 years of teaching she continues to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to her students.
Damien Grima
Damien Grima began his training at the age of six, at Theatre Arts Mackay under the direction of Lynette Denny. Starting with tap, he then moved onto all styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Drama and Singing. After completing his CSTD Gold Cross and RAD Intermediate exams he then moved to Melbourne to train at the Australian Ballet School. Here he also performed some small roles with the Company. Damien's first full time dance job was with Princess Cruises, which resulted in a few fill in contracts in the years that followed. In between these Damien worked as a commercial dancer for ads in Taiwan, Star Struck on Ch 9, The Helpmann Awards as well as two contracts with Opera Australia. He also spent some time in England performing an U.K Tour of Copacabana and as Dance Captain for Potters Theatre Company. Damien also spent a few years training in Ballroom and Latin, and choreographed a piece for Short, Sweet and Dance combining Ballroom with contemporary. He now trains the full time students at Mango Dance Studio.

1999 - 2003. In 1999 I was selected into The N.S.W Ballet School’s Evening Training Program.
I studied classical ballet, pointe, Vaganova, broadway jazz, lyrical, contemporary, neo-classical, pas de duex, repertoire, demi character and national character.
I completed RAD examinations from Pre-elementary to Advanced 2, passing all with Distinctions.
2000. My first Company touring experience was in 2000 in Sydney and I was selected as an extra for the N.S.W Ballet Company during their season of A Mid Summer Nights Dream.
2004 - 2008. I trained and completed four years Full Time Ballet Training with the N.S.W Ballet School, graduating in Dec 2008.
2005. Toured to Hangzhou City in China as a principal dancer for the prestigious Westlake Festival where I performed the role of Clara in the full length ballet of the Nutcracker.
Performed in a cabaret, group routine on the television show My Restaurant Rules at the Pink Salt Restaurant in Sydney.
2007. I was awarded National Classical Ballet Solo Champion in the Showcase National Finals.

Kristen Brookman
